What do you find yourself craving after in this world? Do you say you desire wisdom and the things from God, only to doubt that God could or would do that for you?
James says when we doubt--when we oppose what we know, when we don't align our minds with what we ask--then we are living as double-minded. Literally, we are living with two minds, as two different people. When this is true for us, we cannot expect God to give us anything!
God desires our sole focus, desire, thoughts, actions--in short, our lives--to be craving after Him and Him alone. We have to watch our cravings!
