Pastor Justin "shines some light" on the falls we experience in our lives, and helps us see that the fall isn't the end of the story; it's just the beginning!
Acts 20:7-12
1- STAY WHERE THE LIGHT IS
Acts 20:8--> the light is found through unity with other believers
Matthew 18:20--> when we are unified, Jesus arrives
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12--> being in the light, in unity with Christ and His church, brings strength, joy, hope, and accountability
2- REST WHERE THE LIGHT IS
Acts 20:9--> we must learn to embrace the challenges and trials sent our way, and rest in God through them, because they are for our growth!
Matthew 8:23-26--> resting in the light gives us peace in the middle of chaos
Matthew 16:19--> when we've rested in the spirit, in the light, of Christ, we are given authority over darkness! But we will never have victory over what we run from.
3- DIE TO THE DARKNESS
Acts 20:9--> we can't allow the fear of the fall to keep us from pursuing what God calls us toward!
Romans 6:6--> we must understand that dying to darkness requires we let go of the lives we know
Acts 20:10, 12--> the death of our flesh, the fall, is the very seed of life that God is waiting to plant in us. Death to the darkness is the only way to receive life in the light!
2 Corinthians 5:17--> The fall, and all the pain that comes with the brokenness we experience from it, is NOT the end of your story! God, the King, is fully able, willing, and waiting to restore us back to life! And life in the light is good!
Jeremiah 29:11--> Awe must be willing to sit atop the window, throw our arms open, and surrender to the fall! Are you willing to experience the good plans, purposes, and hopes God has for your ife?
